Identify fixes

When ordering, there are several ways to select your fixes.

Cumulative and group PTFs

  • Select an IBM i, i5/OS, or OS/400 release and click Continue.
  • The list of all group PTFs for the selected release is displayed.

Individual fix IDs

  • You are presented with a field where you may list all of the known PTF numbers to be included in the order. If you list multiple PTF numbers, separate each PTF number with a comma or any whitespace character. For example: "SF44332, SF44454, SF43434". You may enter PTFs from any release or even multiple releases.
  • After clicking Continue, the fixes you entered are validated and displayed.

Text

  • Enter a word or phrase to search for in fix IDs, descriptions, and cover letters.
  • Click Continue to display search results.
Select fixes

After submitting the "Identify fixes" page, your results are displayed on the "Select fixes" page. Note that your results may appear across multiple pages. You can use the Previous and Next links to navigate through the results, or you can change the number of results that appear on each page. You can also filter the results based on release, or sort by release date. Select the fixes you want to order and click Continue.

After making your selections and submitting the page, your selected fixes will appear in the right navigational panel under "My download list". From there you can click on a fix to view its cover letter, if available, or you can clear out your entire download list and return to the "Identify fixes" page
